Scheme launches 16 April!

Will YOU pledge to give just 8 hours of your time over the next 12 months to help one or more community organisations, charities or volunteer-led groups in the Brandwood & Kings Heath and Billesley ward areas?

Active8 is a free coordinated scheme in Brandwood & Kings Heath and Billesley wards designed to connect people with opportunities to contribute and make a difference in, with and for their neighbourhoods and communities from time to time and on an ‘ad hoc’ basis.

If you don’t have much free time or can’t commit to regular volunteering, join Active8 for some neighbourhood action!

You might find that being part of a social network or spending time with a specific group fits your life. You can carry on giving time as long as you like! 

How do I sign up?

You can sign up as an individual, as a family, as a workforce, as a school and as a group of every description if you want to offer your time to the Active8 scheme. The buttons take you to an online registration form.

Where are the opportunities?

The Active8 opportunities will be found across two wards. As the scheme, and number of hosts, grows, so will the opportunities!

We launch the scheme officially on 16 April. We will add events into our calendar which are hosted by groups participating in the Active8 scheme as they are confirmed.
