The resident-led ‘Beautifying Billesley’ environmental improvement campaign is about working together to brighten up the Billesley ward with displays of flowers and artwork. To support this initiative, Our Scene CIC and the art departments of Wheelers Lane Technology College and Swanshurst School teamed up to create 40 pieces of art for 4 park trails for people to enjoy over the Easter school holidays 2024.

Ducks of Trittiford Mill Pool and Park

TRITTIFORD MILL PARK

Hidden in the trees and far from the ground, Trittiford Mill Park has 10 ducks to be found.

 

Thank you to all the artists from Swanshurst School and their art teachers Alex and Tamara. The male and female Mallard and Shoveler ducks painted are species are all native to Britain. Can you see any real ones in, including in Trittiford Mill Pool? 

Owls of Chinn Brook Recreation Ground

Butterflies on Billesley Common

If you look up high towards the leafy skies, you might just find 10 butterflies!

Thank you to all the artists from Swanshurst School and their art teachers Alex and Tamara. The following butterfly species have been painted: Peacock, Red Admiral, Large White and the Small Tortoiseshell.
