Brandwood's Butterfly Effect
with the Good Yarners!

We use yarn to do good and have a good yarn as we make!

Between August and October 2024, The Good Yarners craft group met up at The Brandwood Centre to create a kaleidoscope of colourful butterflies which are fluttering around Brandwood on display from October 24th.

We created a map below of locations where the butterflies had landed as a fun activity during the half term holidays.

Disclaimer. All butterfly artworks were in situ when this map was created!

New crafters always welcome!

Our Good Yarners meet ups are open to people living in Selly Oak Constituency who are aged 50 years young or over. They are great if you enjoy company, like to craft with purpose and for meeting like-minded people who live in and near the Brandwood area of the city.

The group is currently funded through the  Selly Oak Neighbourhood Network Scheme to provide social activities for citizens age 50+.
