with the Good Yarners group!

Monthly evening and daytime craft sessions aimed at people age 50+ living in Selly Oak Constituency.

Meet up with crafters of all experience and abilities to create cheer and raise smiles around Brandwood and Billesley neighbourhoods. We’ll be working as a team to crochet, knit, sew, paint and craft items for postbox toppers and other outdoor displays to enhance entries to the Heart of England in Bloom and Royal Horticultural Society award entries in 2026.

  • Sessions are aimed at people age 50+ living in Selly Oak Constituency.
  • Enjoy new connections with like-minded people.
  • Team or individual projects – you’ll be volunteering skills and time whatever your ability.
  • Help us brighten up Billesley and Brandwood areas with outdoor art displays for everyone to enjoy.
